National Lottery Trust Fund donates medical equipment to Primary Health Center, sports materials in Kaduna State

As part of its efforts to support GOOD CAUSES across Nigeria, the National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF) has donated vital medical equipment to the Primary Health Centre in Kagoro and sport materials to Government Secondary School in Fadan Kagoma, Kaduna State.

The donated medical items include: 5 Delivery Beds, 2 Microscopes, 2 Genotype Machines, 5 Large Oxygen Cylinders, 4 Hospital Patient Beds, 5 Patient Tables, 5 Examination Lamps, 1 Medical Incinerator for proper waste disposal, 3 Office Chairs, 4 Office Tables, 4 Reception Chairs, 2 Air Conditioners, 3 Shelves/Cupboard for storage, and 3 Standing Fans.

This donations according to the Executive Secretary, Comrade Tosin Adeyanju aligns with NLTF’s mission to reach out to citizens, communities, and the downtrodden across Nigeria.

While urging the community to take ownership of the facilities and utilize them effectively, he said NLTF had in previous years made significant contributions to Kaduna State, including:

1. Provision of Sports Equipment to 50 public primary schools (2016)
2. First Aid Boxes and Kits to 9 public secondary schools (2019)
3. Covid-19 Test Kits and PPEs to healthcare institutions (2020)
4. Vital Medical Equipment to Kwoi Comprehensive Healthcare Centre and Kagarko Comprehensive Healthcare Centre (2021)
5. Irrigation Pumps,

“The president means well for you, and that’s why he has remembered you through this generous donation,” Adeyanju said. “I encourage you to continue praying for him and his administration. If you utilize these resources judiciously, we will certainly return to provide even more support.”

Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State during a courtesy call on her, commended the National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF) for its efforts in reaching out to the people of Kaduna state.

She expressed confidence in the strategic document recently presented by the Executive Secretary to the public. stating, “You have shown you’re ready to work and plans for Nigerians.”

Hon. Obadiah Saukyai, Executive Chairman of Kaura Local Government Area, expressed his gratitude to the National Lottery Trust Fund for coming to the aid of the community through the donation of vital medical equipment to the Primary Health Centre in Kagoro.

Hon. Bantex Bala Jnr, Special Assistant to the Vice President, emphasized the significance of the donation, stating that it serves as a reminder to the community that the Federal Government identifies the existence of community. While urging the community to encourage the government by making good use of the donated items.

The traditional ruler of the community, His Royal Highness, Dr. Ufwai Bonet, commended the National Lottery Trust Fund’s (NLTF) effort, saying, “We are grateful for this generous donation, which will greatly benefit our community.
The NLTF’s commitment to enhancing healthcare services in Nigeria is truly commendable.”

Yusuf Duniyan, President of the Kagoro Development Association, called on the community to take ownership and protect the newly donated medical equipment, emphasizing that this responsibility will encourage NLTF to provide even more support to the community.

Mrs. Esther Obadiah, representing the management of Kagoro Primary Health Centre, expressed gratitude for the donated equipment, stating it will significantly ease their efforts in meeting the community’s needs. She assured the Executive Secretary that both the staff and community will utilize the equipment judiciously.

Also speaking on behalf of the management, staff, and students of Government Secondary School, Fadan Kagoma, the school principal, Mr. Iswa Liberty, said the sports materials, which includes track suits, socks, jerseys, caps, and soccer boots, came at a time when the students were in dire need of these materials to meet their needs.

The chairman Jema’a local government, Hon Tanko Dogara who accompanied the National Lottery Trust Fund team during the donation to the school commended NLTF’s support to the school management.
